Training: Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP)
Adopting a life-cycle oriented training approach (program for every stage), EDII-TN provides a range of training programmes and services for entrepreneurs & budding innovators.
The following training programmes have been digitalized during the year 2023 to support career advancement for the younger generation (NEEDS, UYEGP, AABCS). 1025 members have participated in Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps. So far, 5906 entrepreneurs have been trained under the online EDP programme. Now, the offline mode has commenced. The first batch of offline AABCS training had been done this year with 146 entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship development training programme is also being implemented to support departments and organisations such as Department of Industries and Commerce, Tamil Nadu Adi-Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation Limited (TAHDCO), VaazhndhuKaattuvom Project (VKP). Through the above programmes, 3,937 entrepreneurs have benefited.
