Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP) - Achievements
- 13.06.2018 Hon’ble Chief Minister made the 110 announcement (G.O.(Ms.) No.17)
- Innovation Voucher Program- outlay of Rs.20.0cr to support Innovation and Research for Startups& MSMEs -“New Entrepreneur-Cum-Enterprise Development Scheme (NEEDS)”subsidy scheme (G.O.(Ms.) No.79)
- This scheme envisages leveraging the strength of academic and research institutions as Knowledge Partner (KPs) to support MSMEs and Start-ups in innovation.
- Combined the Technical Committee and Steering Committee – Screening Committee (G.O.(Ms.) No.06)
- Two types of Vouchers(A and B) for pre-development and product /process activities.
- Voucher A-Grant for 80% of the project cost to the maximum of Rs 2.00 lakh & Voucher B-Grant of 50% of project cost to the maximum of Rs. 5.00 lakh.
- 437 -Innovators have been selected under Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP) with the sanctioned amount of Rs.11.28 Crores.
- Sectors Covered-Agri., Veterinary, Engineering, Health, Medical, Bio-Technology, Waste Management, Manufacturing etc.,
- So far 83 Knowledge Partners (KPs) have provided technical &mentorship support to the said 437 innovators under the IVP Scheme.
