Tamil Nadu Manufacturing Business Incubation Infrastructure Development Programme (TNMBIIDP)

An important objective of the EDII-TN is to provide access to the innovators, high value technology equipment which is otherwise not available for the new innovators. Such a high value facility is made available by EDII through the incubator facility. Various services such as co-working space, workshops, awareness programmes, seed fund facilitation, networking and consulting services, support for intellectual property rights are being offered at the incubation centres.

9 Business Incubation Centres have been established in Tamil Nadu by   EDII-TN. The scheme is funded by Government of Tamil Nadu under Tamilnadu Innovation Initiative (TANII) through State Planning Commission to benefit young entrepreneurs and students. So far, 691 Incubatees have registered in 9 Incubation Centres and Rs.18.90 crore has been released, Rs.109.35 lakhs yet to be released to the Incubation Centres.
